Stanwood/Camano Wellness Center - About Us
About Us
Sherry Carroll, LMP
Owner of Stanwood/Camano Wellness Center
Sherry graduated from Brenneke School of Massage in 2000. She was privileged to study under founder Heida Brenneke, who was a pioneer in establishing guidelines for massage therapy in Washington State.
After graduating from massage school, Sherry found her passion to be in spa-related massage. She later trained under a European specialist to hone her techniques.
In 2002 Sherry opened her own practice and began focusing on treatment massage. This was the beginning of what is now known as Stanwood/Camano Wellness Center!
Sherry's broad area of expertise spans throughout the realm of massage therapy. Her modalities include: yoga massage, myofascial, cross fiber, trigger point, pregnancy massage, Thai stem massage, cupping,  reflexology and massage-related spa treatments. Extremely artistic, Sherry also excels at henna tattoo application, face painting and sunless airbrush tanning.
Sherry loves volunteering in the Stanwood/Camano community and currently she has help establish a food pantry for kids in need at the local Lincoln Hill and is The Lincoln Hill Booster Club president. As a cancer survivor, she enjoyed participating in the local Relay for Life. On any given weekend you can find her fund raising for the local high school or selling Shaved Ice or her art at a local festival. She has been voted Best Massage Practitioner in Stanwood/Camano in 2010, 2011 and 2012. She relishes what little spare time she has and often spends it traveling with her husband and two children.
Nancy Maurer, LMP
Nancy graduated from Seattle's Brenneke School of Massage in 2005. During her training there, she came to Stanwood and received a massage from fellow Brenneke alumnus, Sherry Carroll. Their compatibility was evident from the start, and Nancy knew exactly where she was going when she graduated.
Nancy understands the rarity of finding your professional calling and following it, and therefore feels truly blessed to have discovered her passion in bodyworking. On a continual path to enhance her skills and provide excellent care to her clients, she has taken numerous continuing education classes. She is experienced in a variety of specialty modalities, including pregnancy massage, Hawaiian Lomi Lomi, hot stone therapy, oncology massage, trigger point therapy and reflexology. Nancy enjoys giving spa treatments and relaxation-based massages, but her primary focus is on injury rehabilitation.
Volunteerism is also one of Nancy's greatest passions. She is a member of Soroptimist International of Marysville and has participated in numerous fundraising events for Soroptimist International, American Cancer Society and other projects. She lives under the philosophy that giving back fills the soul!
The Hawaiian Islands have been one of Nancy's utmost inspirations. In fact, you'll sometimes hear instrumental Hawaiian music being softly played during her exquisite massages. For a taste of the Islands, request her Lomi Lomi massage, which was inspired by Hawaii's rolling waves and soft breezes.
Revallee Osburn, LMP
Prior to graduating from Ashmead College in 2004, Revallee worked with her husband at Disneyland as an electrician. But even the "happiest place on earth" couldn't silence the calling of her home back in the Pacific Northwest.
Now Revallee finds the greatest satisfaction in making those in pain feel better with specific treatments, like deep tissue, total relaxing, facial massage, reflexology, pregnancy and sports massage.
A particularly favorite treatment of hers is Lypossage. Nothing gives her more gratification than helping both women and men lose inches off of those hard to work areas like legs, hips, butt, stomach and arms. The comfortable, warming Lyposlim wrap can help clients lose inches as well. Wraps are an easy and relaxing add-on to massages and her other spa treatments like body scrubs, paraffin dips and foot treatments.
Revallee enjoys raising her two young sons with her husband, visiting with family and friends and sewing. You may have even seen some of her eye pillows and neck wraps for sale in our gift shop!
